The Body Basics Difference

Body Basics has specialized in functional movement personal training for over 25 years in Boise Idaho.

We excel in providing exceptional coaching with attention to detail and form. We focus on increasing mobility, motor control, functional movement patterning and increasing body awareness. All of our clients have different goals—losing weight, gaining muscle, or even getting stronger after a surgery or an injury.

Regardless of our clients goals, everyone who trains with us will learn to move better, and learn to use their body in a more skilled way.

Common Questions

What is Semi-Private Personal Training?
Semi-Private Training: Semi-private training is still personal training. We will assess your movement capacity, and design programs specifically for you. If another client wants to work with your trainer at the same time you train, your trainer would train them as well. They would be doing a totally separate program designed around their needs and goals. You simply share the same room and time, but still get the attention and personalized experience of personal training.
How long is one training session?
Our sessions are 1 hour long. You will start off by doing a 5-7 warm up on your own, then your trainer will join you, begin your corrective and core exercises before moving into your resistance training series. You will finish up by be stretched by your trainer or having time to stretch on your own.
Are there showers available?
We have showers stocked with shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hair dryer, towels etc…

Body Basics is way more than a gym, it’s an experience. From the incredibly trained staff to the members, everyone has a common goal and commitment to a better healthier lifestyle. If working out at a normal gym feels cold, alone and intimidating then I recommend joining the family at Body Basics.

Working out takes dedication and knowledge. It can be intimidating. Going to a gym without the proper knowledge could result in injury or a waste of time. Since time is valuable to me, working out with a professional trainer gives me the workout I need, in the least amount of time in an environment that is conducive to success. Body Basics is the right place for me.
